For a few years now, we’ve been helping Lake Country create fun and memorable outdoor experiences. By offering a delivery and pick up service for our rentals we can ease the stress of coordinating a day on the lake - allowing you to simply enjoy the day. Additionally on river runs we can also coordinate transportation back to your vehicle if needed. In essence, all you have to do is show up and have a great day enjoying the natural beauty that the Lake Country area provides, while enjoying one of our recreational rentals at an affordable price point..

About The Owner (Pat)

I spent my childhood in Lake Country (Oconomowoc, WI in the Fowler Park neighborhood). It was an idyllic place at an idyllic time. We spent the days swimming and hanging at the Cherry Park bridge (where the cool kids were), buying Jolly Good and Bazooka Joe bubble gum at Little Norway; and our nights playing Kick the Can or a game we made up called Witch.

After leaving high school, I spent much of my life out West, but then ironically life brought me back to the area as my wife Mimi and I and our dog Pooka moved to Delafield, WI in the Fall of 2016. We immediately felt we were home. We observed how friendly and engaging people were and that they seemed to be on vacation.

After a year doing odd jobs, I came up with the idea of opening Pato Loco’s Outdoor Destinations. I’ve always been a very adventurous guy, but I truly didn’t want the hassle of transporting bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, or canoes, maintaining boats, or setting up tents to go camping. In other words, I wanted the adventures, but didn’t want to deal with everything that comes with it. That’s how Pato Locos was formed.
